Hi folks!

Herte the situation:
Squid1 -> Firewall with proxy (no squid) -> Internet

Squid1 has no access to an external DNS and must deliver
all requestst from users in the internal network to the
non-squid Proxy (TrendMicro VirusWall?)

Sending an request to Squid1 it returns:

--
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.opera.com
The dnsserver returned:
Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query.
This means that:
The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.
--
Is there any possibility to configure Squid NOT TO do DNS-requests at all?
System: RedHat 7.1, Squid 2.4 Stable6
Thanks in advance,
