Hi,
While trying to enable wccpv2 for use with a cisco router, I have run
into the following problem. I have followed the steps at
http://squid.visolve.com/developments/wccpv2_install.htm . Even though
the ip_wccp kernel patch fails, I created the ip_wccp.c file and pasted
the code into it. I built GRE and WCCP into my kernel and it loads
fine. When launching squid, I receive the following lines in my
cache.log file :

2002/10/03 14:30:08| Accepting HTTP connections at 0.0.0.0, port 3128, FD 12.
2002/10/03 14:30:08| Accepting ICP messages at 0.0.0.0, port 3130, FD 13.
2002/10/03 14:30:08| Accepting WCCP messages on port 2048, FD 14.
2002/10/03 14:30:08| WCCP Disabled.
2002/10/03 14:30:08| Ready to serve requests.

Here is my squid.conf file:

wccp_router x.x.x.250
wccp_version 2

I leave the incoming and outgoing addresses set as default. Why would
wccp be disabling when I launch squid? Thanks for any help.
