[squid-users] Cache_Mem Problem

Good Morning,

I am attempting to increase the cache_mem from the default of 8MB to 128MB. However, when I apply this change, I get the following error:

FATAL: cache_swap is lower than cache_mem
Squid Cache (Version 2.4.STABLE6): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.010 seconds = 0.010 user + 0.000 sys
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 229

I am not sure how to configure the cache_swap. I see the ability to change the cache_swap_low and cache_swap_high. However, those setting are a percentage figure. Isn't that a percentage of the cache_mem?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Tim
