[squid-users] How To Patch Squid for msnt_auth-problems ?

Hi,
a couple of weeks ago I posted a problem with Squid - msnt_auth -
allowusers/denyusers
It seems that there are two patches for this problem available :
I found them at :

I did install my squid with the squid-2.4.STABLE6-6.7.3.i386.rpm from
Redhat.

Can someone tell me which of those two packages I need to apply.
And (even more important) : How should I do this ??

[sorry if this is a stupid question ... just point me to the correct FAQ if
it exists ;-)]
