Hi,

you also have to set an acl with proxy_auth into the acl part of the
squid.conf like

acl password proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow password

Subject: [squid-users] ncsa_auth

I have squid2.5 on a RH7.3.
This is my configuration:

auth_param basic program /etc/squid/libexec/nsca_auth /etc/squid/passwd

When run my browser from another machine I dont get any type of
authentication. Why is this and how can I overcome. How can i set
authentication .....

Thanks in advance
