Ilia,

I'm not aware that you can do this in squid at the moment.... sounds like
you need to setup some kind of http packet shaping rule using QoS using
linux/xBSD for your two users, failing that get a layer 7 application
switch...

Subject: [squid-users] some ACLs are more important than others

Dear Sirs,

I'd like to implement the following setup:

two clients, BigBoss and NotABigBoss, each has certain ACL assigned.

is there possibility to tell squid that traffic according to the first ACL
is "more important" ?

any idea ?

delay pools are good, but I don't want to shape NotABigBoss, if there's no
other traffic, I don't want to bound him to certain bandwidth.

Regards, (Наилучшие пожелания)
