[squid-users] parent-proxy: trendmicro & ncsa_auth & download & http_access \.exe$

Hi!

My setup:
linux rh 7.3 with squid and trendmicro 3.7.

proxy for all clients = squid on port 8080
parent-proxy for squid = trendmicro on localhost at port 8081

The problem:
Download of attachements, for example \.exe$ should be password-protected.
So far so good. This is realized with an acl and the following
http_access-line:
http_access allow ATTACHMENTS password

This works but: As usual trendmicro has to download the whole exe-file that
it becomes able to scan the attachement for viruses.

If a user starts to download an exe-attachment, the user is prompted to
enter username and password within ncsa_auth. Also o.k.

But then the problem occures. After successful auth within ncsa_auth the
client-browser gets an error, cause trendmicro hasn't been able to download the
whole file within this period and the browser times out (Error-Msg.: no
content received or similar).

The "use trickle" option in TrendMicro-HTTP-Configuration doesn't solve
this.

Is it possible to solve this? If not, what can I else do?

Thx in advance.
