Hi,
We have installed a squid 2.4 on RedHat 8.0. (1,6 Ghz cpu, 512 RAM, 36
Gig SCSI, 1 Gig SWAP) The cache is in transparetmode with the squid as a
router.
When everything was installed the customers were complaining that they
got slow http responses. We disabled the redirect function in IPchanes
and then everything worked just fine.
What could be wrong with our configuration?
