Hello all,

We are running squid 2.5 stable 1 on RedHat 8. The server is a Compaq
proliant ML350 G2 with a PIII processor @ 1.26 Ghz, 512 MB SDRAM and 4 x 9
GB 10k RPM U3 SCSI disks in a RAID 5 array. Two Intel E100 NICs have been
bonded for 400 MBPS throughput. The server will be accessed by around 200
users at any point of time.

I want to tune the cache for better performance. The following are the
options I have in mind.

1. cache_mem - 64 MB.
2. maximum_object_size_in_memory - 128 kb

Am I making the taking the right path ? Is there any other config option I
can tune ?

Thanks in advance.
