All he needs to be careful of is that he isn't using any ACL's that he has
that require DNS (ie don't use things like dstdomain or srcdomain ) and
that of course his cache_peer is not set to a hostname. Something along
the lines of a 'never-direct allow all' will also be required to force all
his requests upstream. His own proxy should then not require DNS for
anything as requests are passed straight up..

The -D option to start squid to disable initial DNS lookups will also be
required too.
