Re: [squid-users] Squid Error.

The question was asked by someone else, but I'll give my feedback. I was
getting the error when I attempted to "START" squid.

When does this error message occur? Does it occur at startup, or does it
appear
after a little while?

What you can do is -temporarily- increase the debug_options in your
squid.conf file.
Whith that you can see what the problem is. (if it crashes after
authentication,
then there is a problem with the authentication process).
Can you send us that piece of the logfile, so that we can help you?
