[squid-users] Does squid use UDP or TCP for it's DNS requests

hi i've got squid running between 2 firewalls - 1 internal to our
intranet and 1 external to the internet. I need to open up port 53 on
the internal firewall to allow squids DNS requests to go to our internal
DNS servers. My question is - should I open UDP port 53 or TCP port 53?
