log_mime_hdrs on? I would think this captures what you want, you would just
need to filter your logs appropriately, I think (and rotate them more
often).

Subject: [squid-users] FW: Custom Header

Does anybody know if it's possible to tweak Squid (version 2.4 stable 6) to
look at a custom field in a http header and report this new value in it's
access log ?

The set up I have is there is a web acceleration proxy sat in front of Squid
(both acting as reverse proxies) and Squid does not see the client IP as it
only sees the IP address of the web acceleration proxy. The true client IP
is however, placed in a custom field in the http header by the web
acceleration proxy but I need to tell Squid to look there.

Any ideas ?

Cheers
