 Squid version ?
 Os/platform/version ?

 Also look/(post ?) entries from access.log when the specific
 url's are being accessed by the browser.

 Look at cache.log for further (error) info,if any.

Squid works fine on the first page. On the redirect such as using a Google search the 2nd page times out. The same thing happens with AOL mail etc. My config file

  http_port 8080

cache_peer wwwproxy.k12.de.us parent 8080 3130 no-query
