Jim,

What site are you unable to get to? How are you unable to get to
the site? Is the unavailable site located on the local machine that you
are running squid on?

--> I have a simple, one page (index.html) web site open to the outside
world. I can get to it from home by typing in my external (internet side)
ip address in the url. However, when I come to work and do the same thing,
I get an "access denied" error with something on the bottom of the page
attributing the error to squid. I can do everthing just fine from home.

We are running several internal sites (Webmail, Webmin and the
test version of our main web-page) on our squid server without any
issues.

Are you using Transparent or authenticated squid access? Do you
have the web browsers set to use the proxy even for Local Addresses?

--> Transparent, I believe. See my .conf file in another post.

Answering the above questions may likely assist you in finding
the answer.
