A polymix-4 consists of many different phases

* A fill phase filling the cache with content (testing a cache without
content is no good)

* A test phase of 4 hours at the estimated request rate

* A idle phase of 20 minutes

* Another test phase of 4 hours.

Transitions between the phases also take 20 minutes.

A polymix-4 test usually takes at least one day to execute, several days
if you have a large cache.

The duration of the fill phase depends entirely on the request rate and
cache size.

The durations of the other phases is easily set in the polymix-4-guts
file. Fairly well commented. There you also find the schedule in what
order the tests are run etc..
