Dear All,

Is it possible that we can configure squid to compress HTML pages and
possible convert to HTTP 1.1.

This will allow client to get better throughput from that little bandwidth in
the pipe.

I have read about mod_deflate and mod_gzip in Apache doing this as a web
server, but if it is possible to do that using Squid, loads of bandwidth will
be come available between the squid server and the client workstations.

Any ideas/pointers are welcome.

Regards,

Mitesh
