[squid-users] slow reloading of pages

hm...

i am not really sure, is this a problem of the squid or not.

when iam browsing a page for example "www.cnn.com" , and then i delete all
temp files of the internet explorer, then i open the page again, its again
slow as without proxy, and i think im downloading all images again, NOT
from the proxy, from the internet i think.

must it be faster, when i browsed the site ? isn't it in the cache of the
squid?
