Hi,

I did a telnet to my squid port 8080 and input an
invalid request n got the following reply(truncated):-

HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request
Server: squid/2.5.STABLE3 ----line 2
Mime-Version: 1.0
Date: Fri, 08 Aug 2003 17:52:22 GMT
Content-Type: text/html
Content-Length: 1213
Expires: Fri, 08 Aug 2003 17:52:22 GMT
X-Squid-Error: ERR_INVALID_REQ 0
X-Cache: MISS from cr
Proxy-Connection: close

How do I get rid of the line showing the squid
version(line 2)? Also even though I have modified the
error pages(not the src before compile, but the error
pages after compilation under
squid/share/errors/English/), and the error hid the
version from a browser, the version of squid
 <!-- (squid/2.5.STABLE3)-->
still shows at the end of the page from the telnet.
How do I also get rid of it. Thanks.
