Yes.

Recommendations: Make sure the firewall protects itself and does not
allow untrusted connections to the Squid ports
(tcp3128,udp3130,udp3401,udp4827) no matter what your Squid acls
says, and make use of the chroot_dir directive in squid.conf to try
to isolate Squid from the host...
