[squid-users] digest auth TTL

hello.
when using "digest" scheme to authenticate users, how often external auth program will be called?
for 'basic" sheme it's "credentialsttl" parameter, what is it for digest?
for me it seems now that overall control is after "authenticate_cache_garbage_interval", right?
nonce_* parameters do not touch external auth program, right?
and it's annoying mozilla users asking username/password every time ttl is expired.
ok, this is browser issue, but may be someone already have recipe?
