Yes.
But you should make sure to use the smb_auth from Squid-2.5 and not an
older copy from Squid-2.4 as there has been subtle changes in the
communication between Squid and the auth helpers making older helpers
not work that well with Squid-2.5 (problems if there is odd
characters in login/password).
You will need to change the squid.conf syntax slightly when upgrading.
