[squid-users] Performance expectations using acl dstdomain FILE?

Hi,

I am currently running a cache whereby a group of authenticated users
are granted access to a limited amount of sites by using a dstdomain
"file" ACL. This list currently contains ~1500 domains and is running
without problem at the moment but i am wondering how well it will scale
in the future. From what i remember, the list is loaded into memory at
runtime, so my questions are:

Are there any other file formats that would improve the situation as the
file grows and if not, does that mean that the scalability will depend
on available memory?

These are the current memory stats:

Mem: 2069852k total, 2061264k used, 8588k free, 701300k buffers
Swap: 1469936k total, 96184k used, 1373752k free, 862224k cached

Thanks, Jon.
