What do you mean - the Squid process takes up more memory, the on-disk cache
grows, or your log file grows?

If you mean your log files grow, Squid will log an entry for every request -
whether it caches it or not.

By default, Squid won't cache URLs with a ? in them, so it shouldn't be
caching these. How do you know Squid is caching these URLs?
