[squid-users] Squid + ip_conntrack

Hi

SYSTEM Details:
2 x 800MHz CPU's
1Gig RAM
Squid Cache = 15Gig (Own SCSI drive)
Redirector = Squirm with 250 children

since i've upgraded squid to 2.5stable4, my ip_conntrack
table seems to be filling within hours, eventually i had to
increase it from 65528 to 163840. And after 3 days, it
neared this limit as well. Once the ip_conntrak is full,
the server starts dropping packets.
Is this normal, what can I do to control this behaviour.
Right now, the only solution i see, besides increasing
ip_conntrack_max all the time, is to downgrade squid.
Any other suggestions?
