Ah ok now...
Error:

FATAL: Cannot open '/usr/local/squid/var/logs/access.log' for writing.
The parent directory must be writeable by the user 'nobody', which is the
cache_effective_user set in squid.conf

After that the ntlm_auth error comes, so it is an error resulting of the
dying of squid as you said.

What I don't understand is the permission setting, for permissions are in
my opinion set right...

drwxr-xr-x 2 squid squid logs

So are they or aren't they?
