[squid-users] Re: authentication problems with IE

i tried that too but it didnt seem to work
do i need to restart my computer ???

neways i m sending u the access.log
i had cleaned all logs and than i restarted squid
after that i tried to access the proxy from the IE
this is what i got:

1071422204.793 4 192.168.121.158 TCP_DENIED/403 1351 GET http://www.iitr.ac.in/ - NONE/- text/html

after thsi i accessed the proxy from the linux comp
this is what i get ( "gen" is the username here)

note that both browsers generate a TCP_DENIED message at first
however mozilla asks for authentication while IE doesnt :(
also see that the error nos are different

for reference
192.168.121.160 : is my proxy server
192.168.121.2 : is my linux comp
192.168.121.158 : is my windows comp

also i am unable to access the cachemgr.cgi
