Yeah- zope! I've moved to Zope&Plone myself, it's very nice...
The trouble is- i'm investigating this for wikipedia.org and they are
using Apache/php. Apache doesn't know about ICP, so the only way would be
to use port 7 to echo the request which i'd expect to be pretty useless
for load balancing. I suspect the echo to be fast regardless of the load
of the server. It also wouldn't reply with ICP_HIT, the 'reply' would be
just what was sent.

I guess Zope also delays the ICP_HIT reply depending on the load. If they
just used Zope...
