[squid-users] Cache consuming more space than set to consume

Hi Everyone

I have my cache_dir set like this:

cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 5000 60 256

If I understand the docs, this means my cache should only grow to 5 GB.

However, it's currently at over 8 GB and climbing.

Do I have something set incorrectly that's allowing this to happen? Is
there someplace else that I may have changed something that would allow
this to happen?
