Please note that I am talking about SSL encrypted connections to the
proxy, not proxying of SSL connections. The two are quite different
things.
Proxying of SSL connections is supported by nearly all https:// capable
browsers since forever.
If Netscape 7.1 supports SSL encrypted connections to the proxy then this
is great news.
