[squid-users] Questions with Load Balancing...

I am currently using Squid with the following specifications....

Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE4-20040209
configure options: --prefix=/usr/local/squid --sysconfdir=/etc/squid
--enable-carp --enable-icmp --enable-delay-pools --enable-useragent-log
--enable-referer-log --enable-snmp --enable-arp-acl --enable-htcp
--enable-ssl --with-openssl--enable-ipf-transparent --enable-linux-netfilter
--enable-underscores --enable-wccpv2 --enable-async-io

I have setup two identical servers running Slackware Linux with the proper
kernal patch for wccpv2 installed. I can get both servers to work
flawlessly with the router sending all requests, and when I shut one down,
the other starts receiving all the requests. The problem is that I can not
get the redirects sent to both servers all the time. Right now it is just
sending to one or the other.

Also, I am not able to get the servers to communicate with each other as to
what is stored in their caches. I have configured them as siblings to the
other, and they are not able to retrieve the digests from the others. I
just get an access denied.

I appreciate any insights into this matter that you can provide. Also, I am
looking for companies or individuals that would like to peer with these
servers. Right now I am peered with NLANR, but I would like to get quite a
few more just to improve things even further. Thanks in advance for the
assistance.
