[squid-users] prefer_direct off not compatible with always_direct and never_direct ?

Hi all,

I'm using squid 2.4.STABLE7
I need to use always_direct for local domains and trusted domains, and i
need to use never_direct for all other.
It's works fine, requests goes directly to trusted and local domains,
and all other are forwarded to cache_peer server.
Problem : when the parent is down, only trusted and local domains can
be reached.
I tried to use prefer_direct off but it don't work with always_direct
and never_direct

In fact when parent goes down i need all request goes directly to
servers, but only if parent goes down !
It is possible to do that with squid ?
