Authentication will be valid upto credentialsttl on that particular client. It will ask authentication after that time,if you
activate that client.

Depends upon client(browser) cache options.

On I.E ,
    Tools --> Internet Options ---> General tab ---> Temporary internet files --> settings ---> never
