[squid-users] URL name resolution

Hi,

I'm a bit of a squid novice and having a bit of a problem when a client puts
an incorrect url in there address bar such as www.....google.com (basically
a url with multiple .'s) the squid server returns the same url, but with the
site content. This is leading to a few filtering issues, is there anyway to
configure squid so that it only resolves correctly inputted url's ??
