RE: [squid-users] squid dead but subsys locked

Thank you for your response.

/var/lock/subsys/squid was existing, I removed "squid" but it didn't work.
Squid is still down.

  Check cache.log.

  Remove :
 
     /var/lock/subsys/squid

  if it exists.

   This is not a fatal error, I think. If authenticators are being used,
check whether the setup is as intended and contains no errors.
