I said you MUST compile your own kernel for this procedure to work. This
is for good reasons. You can not take a module compiled for one binary
kernel and run it on another even if similar..

While it is possible to compile modules for the RedHat binary distributed
kernels the procedure is far too messy and RedHat specific to discuss here
(or in private without a support contract).
