hi all,
i have a scenario as described below,

client<------->squid<-------->Interent<---------->https://google.com

|<---private n/w--->|

I have a private network...and have squid and firewall running on the
same machine. I have a huge number of clients.
i am able to easily configure squid to proxy http coneections transparently.
The question again is how i can configure squid to tranparently proxy
https connections incase my client wants to log-on to some secure
website. I am not able to implement it although i know that https
tunneling will take place because of the CONNECT method.
Using only
acl SSL method CONNECT
seems insufficient.
what more am i supposed to add.
i am using the squid 2.5.6-3 debian precompiled package.......

also, when do i have to use the --enable-ssl option??is it only when i
want to have a seperate ssl connection upto squid from my client.
thanx for any help

regards,
