which access-lists are these...?.. i only have an ACL
that i use to deny redirection of some hosts, such as
my web server e.t.c..

but even without the ACL configured in WCCP, it
doesn't get to the cache.. the 'redirect' matches i
see when i run 'sh ip wccp' appear to be HTTP requests
coming into my network from the outside (to my
webservers).. with wccp enabled, i have to use an ACL
to deny these from being redirected by wccp, otherwise
my websites won't be visible externally..

yes, it is.. i am currently running it to
transparently redirect from the router to squid, using
route-maps.. since it's working with Cisco route-maps,
i don't think the firewall is the problem..
