Hello,

        I did the upgrade about a month ago ... all I did was:

1. Turn off squid
2. Build / compile new squid then 'make' & 'make install'
3. Turn squid back on.

In other words we have no problems at all --- thanks to squid developers :)

.... hmmmmm... reading the squid.conf file .. .... try `grep -v ^# squid.conf`
