These are my permissions.

[root@inet squid]# ls -ld /
drwxr-xr-x 19 root adm 1024 Sep 19 14:21 //
[root@inet squid]# ls -ld /var
drwxr-xr-x 21 root root 4096 Aug 14 16:57 /var/
[root@inet squid]# ls -ld /var/spool
drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 4096 Aug 21 23:58 /var/spool/
[root@inet squid]# ls -ld /var/spool/squid
drwxr-xr-x 18 squid squid 4096 Sep 17 11:32 /var/spool/squid/
[root@inet squid]# ls -ld /var/spool/squid/swap.state
-rw-r--r-- 1 root squid 768000 Sep 17 11:32 /var/spool/squid/swap.state

Maybe I should just delete the swap.state file. Is that safe?
