Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE4

Have a strange problem when visiting the following site:

http://www.coolcat.edu.au

It redirects to
http://www.coolcat.edu.au:8080/zportal/zengine?VDXaction=Navigation

But when utilising squid, the redirect fails (Page cannot be found error
in browser), and I see the following in the logs:

1095817071.627 0 172.16.20.52 TCP_IMS_HIT/304 250 GET
http://www.coolcat.edu.au/ - NONE/- text/html
1095817071.654 0 172.16.20.52 TCP_NEGATIVE_HIT/404 518 GET
http://www.coolcat.edu.au/zportal/ - NONE/- text/html
1095817165.489 0 172.16.20.52 TCP_NEGATIVE_HIT/404 518 GET
http://www.coolcat.edu.au/zportal/ - NONE/- text/html

Is there a specific feature I must enable to allow this redirection?

I have added 8080 to Safe_ports

acl Safe_ports port 8080

MB
