Pick one (or two):

* Use of Digest authentication.

* Use of NTLM authentication.

* SSL encryption of the client<->proxy traffic. Requires a client wich
supports SSL encryption of proxy connections or the use of a SSL tunnel on
the client (browser -> SSL tunnel on localhost -> proxy).
