FW: [squid-users] Squid being slow at some points

        So nobody got any clues? I really couldn't fix it yet, any help is

        Ok, here is my problem, my squid runs extremely slow in this
situation:

        When I open any yahoo page (yahoo.com.br or yahoo.com, doesn't
matter), its works fine. I join webmail, its still fast. But once I click on
"Compose", its takes me over a minute to open it up, but other functions
like check mail and stuff works ok. If I remove squid from the game, its
fast. About 3-4 seconds to open it, once I go back to the proxy it slows it
up.... only at this point.

        Im using squid as a transparent proxy, with blacklist (around 250
expressions.. quite small) and with delay pools, and it isn't overloaded, we
got only 35 PCs.

        I also tested it up here at home, and I got the same problem, the
server is running Debian 3.0r2 with the lastest patches, it's a little
weirdo ... I really don't know got any clues why this happen... ah.. also
theres no bandwidth utilization, so no delay because of it.

        If anyone got any clues from where to begin I really appreciate.
