[squid-users] FTP Download Problems

Hello all,

I'm having a problem with downloading files through the proxy using ftp.
I'm able to connect up to an ftp server using Firefox or IE 6 just
fine, and I can start downloading files without trouble. I can see the
file in the cache as it's downloading, so I know Squid is at least
starting to get it as it should. If the files are small, they work
perfectly. Larger files, however, such as iso images, fail partway
through the download. The irritating thing about the failure is that
the browser reports that the download has succeeded.

Looking at the ftp traffic on the squid server, it appears that the ftp
connection just dies partway through the download. The same happens
regardless of the ftp server I'm connecting to. When I bypass the Squid
and grab the file directly it also works perfectly.

Has anyone else run across this problem? Any suggestions on what to
look at? Please let me know if you need me to post anything (logs,
configs, debug info, etc...).

Thanks.
