hi,
i have this problem with squid/2.5.STABLE6, samba Version 3.0.7 running
(ntlm_auth) --helper-protocol=squid-2.5-ntlmssp.

I have:
- internet domain: @mycompany.com
- W2K domain is: MYW2KDOMAIN
- W2K user: average
- user real name: Joe Average
- user's workstation: AVERAGEWS

And I have in logs (cache.log smbloglevel=3):

1) [2004/11/23 15:03:24, 3] libsmb/ntlmssp.c:ntlmssp_server_auth(615)
     Got user=[average] domain=[MYW2KDOMAIN] workstation=[AVERAGEWS] len1=24 len2=24
.....
2) [2004/11/23 15:03:46, 3] libsmb/ntlmssp.c:ntlmssp_server_auth(615)
  Got user=[joe.average@mycompany.com] domain=[] workstation=[AVERAGEWS] len1=24 len2=24
   [2004/11/23 15:03:46, 3] utils/ntlm_auth.c:winbind_pw_check(439)
Login for user []\[joe.average@mycompany.com]@[AVERAGEWS] failed due to [No such user]

Enerything was ok at point 1), but since point 2) (24 secionds later) my user
cannot be authenticated via ntlm.

Does anyone seen this? -> "got user" is set to user's e-mail address acctualy.
How can I get rid of this or what's wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Marian.
