Either of the above two is correct.

The first requires Squid-3 due to OWA requiring certain custom headers
when fronted by an "SSL accelerator" taking care of the SSL part.

The second requires Squid-3, or the SSL update to Squid-2.5 as standard
Squid-2.5 does not know how to initiate SSL connections.

This is pointless to do via Squid. Just NAT forward the traffic to your
OWA.
