Remember that you are running an obsolete development snapshot, not a
production version. Some rough edges are to be expected B-)

Seriousy speaking, this message is a known misfeature in the Squid-3
development version and will be fixed before there is a stable Squid-3.0
release suitable for production use. The issue is that the memory pools
are initialized before the configuration have been read and the message
just shows the defaults built into the memory pools code, not the actual
settings while Squid is running (after the configuration have been read).

In any event, upgrading to a nightly Squid-3 snapshot is recommended. The
now obsolete 3.0.PRE3 release has too many bugs (not saying that the
current nightly snapshots is bugfree, but I hope less buggy at least..)
