[squid-users] encrypting proxy authentication

Good day.

We have recently started using squid2.5stable9 with NTLM and basic
authentication. Authentication works fine.

Is there any way to encrypt proxy authentication when using command
line programs such as wget? or browsers like mozilla, firefox that
does not support NTLM?
