Hi everyone,

Previously, I was using Squid 2.5 Stable 5, which have been upgraded
to Squid 2.5 Stable 10 recently. Since then, I noticed that there are
many cache lost messages being captured by the router that we are
using (Cisco 7507). The load is usually around 40%.

Cache lost messages:
Jun 10 18:13:11 <router name> 4299: 4w6d: %WCCP-1-CACHELOST: Web Cache <ip> lost
Jun 10 18:16:54 <router name> 4301: 4w6d: %WCCP-1-CACHELOST: Web Cache <ip> lost
Jun 10 18:20:31 <router name> 4303: 4w6d: %WCCP-1-CACHELOST: Web Cache <ip> lost

This is how I perform the upgrade:

# cd ~/squid-2.5.STABLE10
# ulimit -HSn 8192
# ./configure --prefix=/etc/squid --sysconfdir=/etc/squid
--localstatedir=/var/squid --enable-snmp --enable dl-malloc
# make all
# make install

No configurations have been modified after the upgrade. I hope there
is somebody that could help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

Server Specs:
Redhat Linux 8.0 (2.4.18-14)
2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor
2 GB memory
140GB U320 SCSI drive dedicated for caching
