[squid-users] smb_auth problems

I am working on setting up proxy authentication on a SAMBA server and I
get a bit of a snag in regards to the authentication. I did some command
line trouble shooting for smb_auth and here is what I got...

smb_auth -W DOMAINNAME -d
k k

Domain name: DOMAINNAME
Pass-through authentication: no
Query address options:
Domain controller IP address: 199.x.x.x
Domain controller NETBIOS name: PDC_SERVER
Contents of //PDC_SERVER/NETLOGON/proxyauth:
ERR

It is strange, proxyauth is there, and I opened up the permissions, and
verified "allow" was in the file. Still no go.

I have seen this problem posted, but in those cases it was a missing or
empty proxyauth file.
